About the FibeAir 1500-P Radio

FibeAir 1500-P FibeAir 1500-P is Ceragon Networks' entry level Ethernet and T1 radio in the point to point licensed frequencies (6 - 38 GHz). It delivers 50 megabits per second (Mbps) each way, over 0-30 miles (unrepeated). Bandwidth is software upgradeable to 100 Mbps (Fast Ethernet) and an 8-T1 option is available for cost effective telecom, video or VoIP (voice over IP).

As an FCC licensed, carrier-class radio, the 1500P is built to the most demanding specifications. Reliability is uncompromising, putting FibeAir on a par with fiber (arguably higher) for the most critical corporate and healthcare networks. Performance is at native Ethernet speeds with minimal latency (60ms) and forward error correction, all in a serious, weather resistant package that holds up to even hurricane conditions.

System set-up consists of a compact Outdoor Unit (ODU) with a dish-shaped parabolic antenna, connected to a rack-mounted Indoor Unit (IDU). Antennas range from 1' to 6' in diameter, depending on distance. ODUs and IDUs are connected by a single RG-8 coax carrying signal and power. Maximum cable distance is 1,000’ and the FibeAir runs on standard 120 VAC power, drawing 5-amps. The IDU supplies a 100Base-T interface to your network switch or router, and RJ-48s for the optional T1s.

The FibeAir 1500P is licensed for interference protection. The license period is 10-years and renewable thereafter. For your convenience, we offer guaranteed FCC license approval with a turnkey installation.
