WAYSIDE CHANNEL INTERFACE & THOUGHPUT OPTIONS

A "wayside channel" is a subchannel in the carrier frequency - basically, a little extra bandwidth that you can dedicate to some practical use. For instance, typical wayside channels are configured for T1 telephony or video.
Wayside Channel options are:
1) 10Base-T/RJ-45 interface with 2 Mbps throughput
2) RJ-48 T1 interface
