The FE60 is for Fast Ethernet (100 Mbps) and the GE60 is will give you a full gigabit, in each direction (full-duplex). The wireless connection is seamless to the network, delivering full speed Ethernet with minimal latency (60ms), forward error correction and SNMP management.

The wireless link couldn't be easier to install [installation manual]. It consists of a single Outdoor Unit (ODU) with an integrated 1' flat panel dish or for longer range, a 2' external antenna. The ODU attaches to a wall mount or non-penetrating tripod (2-7/8" OD) and delivers a two strand multi-mode fiber connection (LC) to your network switch or router. A 14-gauge DC cable also runs from the ODU to an indoor power block (120 VAC, 5A).

At only $9,900 per end for a gigabit link ($7,950 for Fast Ethernet), the BridgeWave 60GHz radio is a true carrier class solution, trusted by major telcos for use in their own networks.
