DIRECT ATTACHMENT OF ODU TO ANTENNA |

The ODU may be directly attached to the rear of the antenna by sliding it over the cylindrical waveguide fitting (with O-ring), lining up the four latches between the ODU and antenna and fastening them. For proper sealing, confirm the existence of a rubber O-ring on the antenna. |

The orientation of the ODU determines whether polarization is vertical or horizontal. If the handle of the ODU is facing up or down, then the polarity is vertical. If the handle of the ODU is to the side, then the polarization is horizontal. Also, for best weather immunity, mount the ODU so that the RG-8 connector is facing down. |
